As I reviewed the list of last year’s more than 200 Village programs, I noted the high attendance at our Health & Wellness programs and the number of Affinity Groups related to this topic such as Walkie Talkies, Mindfulness Meditation, Gentle Yoga, and Qi Gong. The good news is that in 2018, the Program Committee is dedicated to offering a wide range of Health & Wellness programs for all to attend.
For example, on March 13th and April 10th, Drs. John and Chris Cavanaugh will share with us the latest research and debunk some misconceptions on aging. Through conversation, they will explore active strategies and techniques that will help you navigate the challenges and appreciate the joys of later life. See below for the full description of the "How to Live Well to 100" program.
Speaking about programs, if you are someone who is looking to bring out your creative side and like the idea of doing volunteer work that’s different from anything you’ve ever done, then the Village has a “job” for you. The Program Committee is now looking for volunteers who want to join with us in creating new and exciting programs that all Villagers will find interesting, informative, and entertaining. So, let us know if this “job” is one for you. And, please don’t worry about the “job” interview. I promise you won’t have to wear a tie or a dress and sneakers are always allowed.
Have a good week.
