Cocktails with Michael Santoro, executive chef at Watergate Hotel

Michael SantoroWatergate Hotel Executive Chef Michael Santoro will be at a salon from 7 to 9 pm on March 8, 2017 in the penthouse suite overlooking The Point at Watergate West. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.
New to the neighborhood this year is Kingbird, a dual concept restaurant located inside the iconic Watergate Hotel. Once inhabited by renowned French Chef, Jean-Louis Palladin, the restaurant inside The Watergate Hotel became known as the birthplace of European Cuisine in the United States.
Now, decades later, the legendary Watergate Hotel has reemerged after a $200-million-dollar renovation with Executive Chef, Michael Santoro overseeing the culinary operations for Kingbird, The Next Whisky Bar and Top of the Gate. While creating the new food and beverage menus, Chef Santoro was inspired by D.C.’s culinary history and the legacy left by Jean-Louis Palladin. Join Chef Santoro for a nostalgic evening in a Penthouse Suite overlooking The Point as he pays tribute to Washington, D.C.’s culinary past and shares his vision for the future.
