A talk and backstage tour of the Opera House in the Kennedy Center followed by a buffet lunch with Andrew Jorgensen.
Jorgensen joined the company in October 2012 at the invitation of Artistic Director, Francesca Zambello. He is responsible for executing all Washington National Opera artistic activities, including the planning of future seasons, casting singers and conductors, and overseeing all artistic operas; he is also responsible for the management of the Artistic and Production Departments. He began his career with two seasons as an Assistant Artist Manager at Columbia Artists Management followed by five seasons as an Associate on the Artistic Staff at the Metropolitan Opera. Born in the Philadelphia suburbs, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.

) starting August 15 and are $75 each. Don’t wait to buy tickets for your favorite celebrities; they go fast.
Addresses will be on the Website for people to see when they buy their tickets, and people who buy tickets will get a paper ticket with the street address and phone number of the host.
The Gala is the village’s major fundraising event. Individual tickets to the September 7 Gala at the DAR Constitution Hall are $95 and are now available on the village Website (http://www.fbwevillage.org
