On November 10, 2015, the Foggy Bottom West End Village (FBWEV) announced the formation of the FBWEV Legacy Society
to honor and recognize members, family, friends and all individuals in the community who have generously remembered the FBWE Village in their estate plans. The Society was created to thank those who believe in our mission to help members live independently at home as long as possible and who want the Village to remain part of the community.
FBWEV Legacy Society members will be recognized on the FBWEV website and in the annual report. The size of each bequest will be confidential, and individuals can be listed as "Anonymous" if they prefer. Society members will be invited to attend a special event during the Village calendar year.
Board member Bill Armistead said that "many societies are social, some economic. Many are inclusive, others elitist. We consider ours an honorary society of the highest order, recognizing those who choose to give back to our wonderful community. We hope everyone will consider joining this very special group."
If you would like to learn how you can leave a legacy to FBWEV please visit the Legacy Society
