The Village has received a grant of $3,000 from a local non-profit organization to provide six reduced fee memberships for lower-income individuals. This grant assists us in our commitment to assure that membership in the Village is not restricted by financial status.
Since our launch almost one year ago on October 1, 2013, the Village has grown to 122 members and a force of 75 volunteers. Currently, 15% of our members benefit from subsidized memberships and from the broad scope of Village services including social and cultural events and programs, educational forums, health and wellness sessions, and volunteer services.
As we approach the second year of operations, our Board is committed to maintaining a high level of reduced fee members. In order to accomplish this goal, the Village is seeking additional funding from community resources. Tax deductible donations for this purpose may be made by check or online. Visit our Support Us
