Are you interested in genealogy but don’t know how to get started or how to take advantage of the vast research facilities here in our city?

Amateur genealogist and Village member, Anne Roger, will get you started on your journey by sharing experiences, examples, and lessons learned from her eleven years of researching families. She will cover on-site searching at libraries and other facilities, as well as internet searching on popular and special sites. Discover the wealth of information available to us here in DC--the DAR Library, National Archives, and the Library of Congress.

Cost: This program is free

Accessibility: The building is accessible via a ramp to the left of the steps leading to the atrium and an elevator within the building.

Open to members and volunteers but limited to 10.

Registration is required.
