Mancini, Mercer, and Manilow! They wrote the songs that made the whole world sing! From iconic movie music to broadway showstoppers to huge pop hits, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer and Barry Manilow songs have become a part of our lives and express the longing, the love and the hope that we all feel. Hear Delores King Williams sing classics such as “Moon River”, “Blues in the Night”, and “Weekend in New England” - just to name a fabulous few and you’ll find out how magic and mischief played a part in each of their incredible careers- It’s a Miracle Come True!
Delores King Williams has performed in musicals, plays, cabarets, commercials, concerts, and video productions. Performance highlights include international appearances at the North Sea, Montreux, and Vienne Jazz Festivals; concert tours of India , Egypt, Russia, and Kenya; performances at the White House and Carnegie Hall; off-Broadway runs with The Capitol Steps; and an Australian tour of “Porgy and Bess” with the Washington National Opera.
Currently, she’s thrilled to tour with The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra in a “Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald” and to continue as a performer with The Capitol Steps musical satire group.
Pianist Howard Breitbart, well known for his work with the political satire troupe The Capitol Steps, has toured nation-wide with the ensemble in both live productions and on radio for over 20 years. He has served as pianist and musical director for many of Washington DC’s theaters including the Arena Stage, MetroStage, and Ford’s Theatre and for more than a decade he was musical director for the American Songs series at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
There will be time for mingling while sipping wine and soft drinks before the cabaret begins. The audience will be sitting at round tables in a relaxed atmosphere to listen to the music that is so familiar and loved by all.
There is no cost for Village member and Village volunteers. Guests of Village members and general public are $20.

Accessibility: The building is accessible via a ramp to the left of the steps leading to the front entrance and an elevator within the building.
Doors will open at 6:45 pm. Please note that entry to the building is not permitted after 7:15 pm so as to have everyone seated and beverages served prior to the concert.
