Leave the driving to us! Sit back and relax on a chartered bus with Village art lovers and head off to visit Glenstone Museum! Whether you're a first time visitor or want to visit the museum again we'll make it easy for you to do that!
Glenstone Museum, which encompasses two buildings, several outdoor sculptures and more than 230 acres of landscape is one of Washington's tucked away charms. Participants will tour the museum on their own but there are museum guides stationed in all buildings to answer questions on the art, architecture, grounds.
Ready to take a rest, there are two cafes on the grounds where you can sit and relax over a drink or snack. To fully experience Glenstone, be prepared to spend considerable time on foot, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The first of the Museum buildings is a seven-minute walk from the Arrival Hall.
A Village representative will meet you in the atrium of the Village at 2430 K Street NW at 10:45 am. The bus will depart at 11:00 am. Two hours are scheduled for the museum visit. The bus will depart the museum at 2:00 pm to return participants to the Village at 2430 K Street NW.
Cost: The cost is $15 and is not refundable if you cancel at any time. The Village is underwriting the remainder of the cost.
When you register you will find instructions on how to make your payment. Registration and payment is due by June 30th. The Village is providing bus transportation limited to 24 participants.
